Modern wood chip or pellet boilers offer the warmth and comfort of wood heating but are efficient and environmental friendly. Chip or Pellet boilers are lit automatically and the boilers are self cleaning. Wood pellet boilers can provide the main heating system for the house. Pellets can be purchased in bagged or bulk form. It is important that there is adequate ventilation and that a clean air source is supplied to the boiler. Also important is the flue design and installation to ensure boiler efficiency.
