Fall Prevention Cables are a practical solution that allow workers access roof areas for maintenance and inspection. Workers wear full body harnesses, attach to the cable via a shuttle and can walk the full length of the system without detaching. Suitable for concrete, steel and timber frame roofs and compatible with all roof membranes.
Abseiling or rope access systems are used where cradle systems are not suitable due to the nature of the building and include abseiling anchors, tracks, monorails, rigging sleeves and outrigger beams to suit all building conditions.
When general access is required to flat roof areas for maintenance of plant and equipment, it is critical that collective protection is provided. Guardrails are the ideal collective protection system – they ensure that all users are protected from falls without the need for specialized training.
