Why choose Vrogum !The advantages of Vrogum are many. Carefully prepared and tested construction through to the selection of superior materials combine to ensure that Vrogum doors and windows are the best in the marketplace.Unique glass fitting. The glass is fitted from the inside with a silicone sealer on the outside. Slicone seals are superior to rubber weather strips which tend to dry up and leave cracks, enabling water to penetrate the construction.Silicone seals, however, remain hard and tight throughout the window’s life. This ensures a long life and increased security.Internal glazing beads. Use of external glazing beads can cause cracking of the frame, leading to water penetration and rot. Vrogum use internal glazing beads and silicone sealant to overcome this problem.Surface treatment. We offer one of the best and most environmentally friendly on the market. Our windows are treated with two to three times the amount of primer/paint as that of other manufacturers. The end result is a surface treatment layer thickness (measured in mμ) of 120mμ and up to as much as 250mμ in all joints - the weakest point on windows and doors. An application of only 60-80mμ is normal.Consequently, Vrogum products have extremely long lives, and you will enjoy much longer maintenance intervals on your windows and doors. As for the actual maintenance, you will find it very easy, as the smooth and unbroken product surface is quick and easy to brush. Furthermore the extra layer of primer/paint eliminates most resin secretion which can reduce product life.
