KOVOBEL, www.kovobel.cz , is currently one of the largest manufacturers of demountable containers (about 6.000 pieces a year) for storage of different goods in Europe and is also the largest producer of cage batteries for hens in the Czech Republic.
The company was established in 1966. Traditional technology and first class handicraft skills guarantee that our products are of the highest quality known both at home and abroad.
KOVOBEL employs about 70 people with considerable experience in mechanical engineering. A large majority of our company’s output is exported mainly to Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The KOVOBEL containers are made from the zinc coated sheets with the wooden or steel bottoms or bounded floors. The assembly and dismounting of the containers is very simple and requires no special tools. Containers are transported dismounted and so the costs of transportation are very low. It is possible to transport on one truck up to 14 meters of KOVOBEL containers in 8 layers (for example 16 pieces of containers 3 m + 16 pieces of containers 4m).
The KOVOBEL containers are produced in 5 different lengths from 2,25 m up to 6 m (with bounded and steel floors only 2,25 and 3 m) and after assembly they can be equipped with shelving stands, shelving holders with bounded shelves (if needed), roof stiffenings, fork guides fitted on wooden container floors and vandal bars over the doors to protect the container against break-ins.
It is also possible to install into the container walls another door, windows in two dimensions with or without shutters and air grilles for better ventilation of inside the container space. To connect two containers lengthwise a connection set is used. Containers can be delivered, powder coated in any RAL shade, according to customer’s demand. To bring daylight to the inside space of KOVOBEL containers it is possible to make the container roof with lighting strips made of transparent fibre glass.
